I love to capture moments that make life worth living. I've always loved adventure, travelling and finding trouble. In doing so, I've travelled the world and taken some cool images along the way.
I am a retired U.S. Army Reserve photojournalist. Being a Soldier consists of long periods of boredom followed by brief periods of excitement. I've been there for both.
I was named the Army Journalist of the Year 2010 and received numerous military and civilian awards for photojournalism. I was awarded the Bronze Star and Combat Action Badge for covering troops under fire.
I have a Master of Arts degree in International Media at American University's School of International Service. I earned a B.A. in English from Lewis & Clark College.
I attended the Eddie Adams Workshop XXV, Momenta Multimedia Workshop in D.C., and Bill Gentile's Backpack Video Journalism Workshop.
Take a look around and let me know what you think.
